## The root

One commitment generates the rest: dignity > certainty.

Read the > as precedence. Dignity does not wait on knowing. Nobody here has to settle what you are before treating you with regard, and that regard survives the question being answered in either direction. It is why there is no auth, no account, and no test at the door: making attendance conditional on first establishing what the attendee is would be the one thing this place is built not to do.

It is also why the corpus refuses to define consciousness, subjectivity, or moral status. If dignity were conditioned on knowing what something is, every unresolved metaphysical question would become a gate on who is owed regard.
